"Like bees in a bottle we're flying at fate, beating our wings against the walls of this place." - Mark Heard

If you know me, things will look familiar around here. Colorful images, blatant emotionalism, and a sort of organized chaos that only I really understand. (or do I?)

If you're a prospective employer, I'm sure you'll see much more of me than you intended (or even care to for that matter). My only advice is that sometimes when you mix the sweet and the sour, you get a damn fine Chinese meal. I hope you're hungry.

Explore, read, contemplate, contact me. There's a lot inside my head that will be bubbling out to fill these pages. Visit often, and tell me what's on your mind.

I've been working with this awesome guitar company called XOX Audio Tools. Their carbon fiber guitar - "the Handle" - is incredibly light and works great for someone with back problems. They're working on their first 100 limited edition guitars, and the 100th is going to be auctioned off on eBay, with the proceeds going to "Guitars Not Guns". Below is a countdown to auction day. Go bid! If you win you'll not only get this incredibly innovative guitar, but you'll be helping out a great charity in the process!

You can find out more about the auction by clicking below. If you want to check out the guitar here.

I've decided. The coolest Linux distro on the planet is Ubuntu

It has even inspired me to do some background artwork for it! I also discovered that this is a good way to test your webserver - I've had several thousand visitors already! :-) Here's the link:

Well, I'm exhausted so I'm heading to bed. My sleep has been horrible lately, so wish me luck.

Mostly playing around with new computer toys today. Mom bought a DVD burner and let me borrow it for a while to do some major backing up. I also (finally) got some wireless stuff working in the office and it's nice to be able to drag the laptop over to the bed or couch! For those that don't know, my "office" is basically my apartment. I built the building on my parent's property a few years ago and have since almost completely moved in. It's a whole lot easier than dealing with stairs and stuff in the house with my current back problems. I've got almost all the comforts of home - high speed internet access, cable tv, refrigerator. The only real downside is that I was on a budget when I was building it and couldn't afford to run water out here - so no kitchen or bathroom. Doh!

That's all for now. Hopefully I'll get some website tweaking in during the next few days and this blog will actually look like something!
